Mission 9: Full Circle

Review:

So it appears that my days as a super hero were numbered, but I must say that I had a blast with conquering all these missions. It only seems right that I Fierce Dreamer step out of the lime-light and allow some other super hero to shine bright. I mean I can't be a super hero forever right? I conquered all I set out to accomplish and I wish the new coming super heros well. Before I go on an extended vaction I want to give you upcoming heros words of advice. The first one being step up and help to your full potential, and don't be afraid to be creative with your ideas, because you never know what good can come from it. I mean if anything these missions helped me stay aware of all the local issues that are going on. I challenge anyone who wants to make a change in the world to partake in these missions.

Let's start off with an issue thats serious and deadly:

Modesto police nab 22 suspected drunk drivers

With roving saturation patrols and a DUI checkpoint over the Halloween weekend, Modesto police nabbed 22 suspected drunk drivers.Extra patrols started Friday and led to four arrest. Eleven of the offenders were caught Saturday night at a DUI checkpoint on I Street between Sixth and Seventh streets. Five others were arrested by patrol unitsActivity slowed on Halloween with just two DUI arrests. The enforcement effort was funded by a state Office of Traffic Safety grant.

Modesto woman killed by suspected drunk driver

CERES -- A Modesto woman pushing a shopping cart in Ceres was killed Tuesday night by a suspected drunk driver, according to the Ceres Police Department. Penny Hinckley, 47, was walking with her brother south on Rockefeller Drive northeast of Whitmore Avenue and Highway 99 when a white Jeep Cherokee crossed over from the northbound lane and struck her about 8:40 p.m. Her brother suffered a minor injury.
She was treated at the scene and taken to Doctors Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead
The driver, Jimmy Lee Dickinson, 33, of Ceres, is suspected of being under the influence of drugs and-or alcohol, according to police. His car came to a stop on the east side of the road in a planter east of the sidewalk. He remained at the scene after the accident. He was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter and is being held in Stanislaus County Jail on $100,000 bail, police said.

'Drunk' driver hits ambulance

An allegedly drunk and unlicensed motorist has driven the wrong way across a major intersection in Sydney's south-west and smashed into a passing ambulance.
Police say the man's blood alcohol level was more than four times the legal limit, he had been unlicensed for a decade and a search revealed he was carrying cannabis.
The crash occurred as the man sought to negotiate the intersection between Smithfield Road and Elizabeth Drive at Edensor Park about 11.15pm yesterday.
"The man was allegedly driving a red Ford Falcon sedan south on Smithfield Road ... [when] at the intersection of Elizabeth Drive, the man's vehicle allegedly mounted a median strip," police said.
The vehicle then crossed two eastbound lanes of traffic, before colliding with the ambulance that was passing in one of two westbound lanes.
Two ambulance officers suffered minor injuries and shock.
The man was taken to Fairfield police station, where he returned a breath analysis of .205.
He now faces charges of high-range drink-driving, negligent driving, being an unlicensed driver and possessing a prohibited drug.
He was granted conditional bail to appear in Fairfield Local Court on November 11.

Drunk Driving Statistics

US Drunk Driving Statistics

Drunk Driving accidents claim lives at the rate of one every 39 minutes in the United States, based on the most recent data available (13,470 deaths in 2006 in crashes caused by DUI drivers with a BAC at or above 0.08 percent). A quick review of some additional drunk driving facts for the United States (also from 2006) shows that all drivers are at risk when drunk drivers are on the road.
  • Tragically, the 13,470 fatalities in 2006 caused by DUI drivers were slightly higher than the 13,451 fatalities caused by DUI drivers in 1996.  One would hope that a decade of Public Service Announcements, education in high schools and defensive driving schools, as well as work by community groups such as Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) would have lessened the fatal impact of drunk driving.
  • In 2006, one-third of all automobile fatalities were caused by DUI drivers with a BAC at or above 0.08 percent.
  • If one looks at all automobile fatalities in which alcohol was a factor (drivers with a BAC at or above just 0.01 percent), the death toll rises to 16,005 people killed.  These are called alcohol-related deaths, as opposed to DUI deaths or drunk driving deaths.
  • Of the 1,794 minors (age 14 and below) who were killed in motor vehicle crashes, 306 (or almost one in five) occurred in alcohol-related accidents. Of those 306 fatalities, the minors riding with drivers who had a BAC at or above 0.08 percent made up one-half (153) of the fatalities.
  • Several trends are observable when studying drunk driving statistics:
    • DUI drivers (those with a Blood Alcohol Content at or above 0.08 percent) were most often driving motorcycles (27 percent), then light trucks (24 percent), then passenger cars (23 percent). Of all DUI drivers, the lowest fatality rate occurred in large trucks (just one percent). The data does not reveal if drivers of larger vehicles are less likely to drive drunk, or if they are just less likely to die in the accident due to the vehicle they are operating.
    • DUI drivers are more four times more likely to be male than female.
    • Traffic deaths at night are four times likelier to be alcohol-related (i.e. caused by a driver with a BAC at or above 0.01 percent) than those during the day.
    • Of all traffic deaths in 2006 caused by drivers with a BAC at or above 0.08 percent, the majority of those drivers were age 21 to 24 (33 percent), followed by those age 25 to 34 (29 percent), and then age 35 to 44 (25 percent).

Arts and Culture..

Learn:
Tis the season to be jolly… Fa a la la la la laaaa! Oh goodness gracious it’s almost that time again to go caroling throughout the city, and participate in all the vigorous seasonal events that Modesto has to offer. Oh how I can remember when I Fierce Dreamer was a little youthful child how excited I would be to go to different events at the parks and recreation centers and make seasonal arts and crafts. On top of it being fun it was always free to attend the events at local parks, but boy are times changing.  Arts and cultural events are extremely important especially when it’s around the holidays. They just seem to get everyone in the holiday spirits. Even if it’s not around the holiday season arts and cultural events are a great way to get people involved within the society.
Act:
Oh I can’t help but get excited for the holiday season.  As it gets closer I figure that I will partake in some of the upcoming events. The first thing on my list is to catch a play at the Gallo Center. It is so surprising to me that almost every week they have a new play available to watch. I mean how great is that never having to rewatch the same play each week. Okay.. Okay just kidding what can I say I am a wishful thinker. Of course most people can’t afford to go watch a play every week, but I mean going like once or twice a year can be very entertaining and beneficial for the whole family. On a cheaper note of things the other event on my list will be to attend the Annual 25th Light up a Life Holiday Tree Lighting. It’s always joyful to watch a big tree being lit up with gorgeous lights and on top of that there will be free refreshments available. I mean come on people what’s cheaper than FREE!

Imagine:

So I Fierce Dreamer have a great master plan on an activity that is definitely going to bring the community together in celebration of art and culture. First I will cause all the city employees and those with extra money to share to enter a dream like trance where they will envision a park and at the part there will be the people from some of the plays at the Gallo Center performing the Nutcracker for free and then there will be different booths where children and adults will be allowed to make various arts and crafts for free as well. At my FREE! Park event I will advertise the lovemodesto next event in hope that people will support and come out and help.

Ah! It has been a good 5 years and people are attending my FREE! Arts and cuture day at the park. It’s so nice that these city workers and actors from the Gallo Center are very supportive and  all the marvelous people that gave donations to make this event still possible. If it continues at this rate I don’t think there will ever be a problem with arts or culture anymore.

Mission 7: Let's Tag it Up

Learn:
Oh what a wonderful day it is bright and sunny not to hot and not to cold. So why is it that as I fly over the local neighborhoods there are no children in sight. What could possibly be keeping these young children playing outside on a day like this. Hmmmm? Ah-hah! I have an idea I will simply just peek in some of the houses to see what the children are up to. Tisk..tisk.. tisk just as I expected. These little precious children are all too busy being corrupted by the XBOX 360’s and Play stations. I mean if they were playing the Wii then I would be a little more understanding considering the fact that the Wii is a major workout and exercises’ more than just thumbs. This video game epidemic needs to put to a stop. So I Fierce Dreamer will set out on a conquest to find activities for these young Modesto children to participate in.
As I Fierce Dreamer went on my conquest to get children to participate in activities I came across a Family Cycling Festival that is located right here in the Stanislaus County. Not only is it a fun way for children to ride their bikes and meet new friends, but the whole family can participate in it together. The problems with most recreational activities are that it comes with a price. Most parents view the recreational price as a hassle so they do not let their children participate in activities. However, one recreational place that is fairly cheap is the Boys and Girls Club it only cost 15 dollars for a whole year. This can be best described as an after school club that children of all ages can join. I know from experience that this club is great as I fly over the Boys and Girls club there are always children outside playing various sports. It’s a great way to get children involved with meeting other children and a good way to keep them active.

Act:
I am utterly confused on why children prefer to stay inside on gorgeous days instead of roaming freely outside. When I was in my ages of youth I loved to play any type of game that revolved around tag. Whether it was freeze tag, regular tag or hide and seek they were all so fun. On top of that I didn’t realize how much running was involved in tag until I played with my sisters and cousins. I mean enjoy playing outside when you’re young kids, because trust Fierce Dreamer when I say the older you get the less your body participates with you. I mean I am not against video games or anything, but while there is light outside children should be out there playing. When it gets dark outside the children can come in and play video games then; playing video games 24 hours a day is outrageous.

Imagine:
Now time to put my plan in action. The first thing I will do is cause all the parents to enter a dream like trance where they will visualize all their lovely children playing graciously outside with the other neighborhood children. When the parents wake up all they will make it a household rule that their children must play outside for at least an hour, and at least 2 hours if they wish to play video games. I mean we have to take little steps first before we successfully reach our destination. My dream destination would be to have bi-monthly a tag-athon because we know that kids have a busy schedule so I couldn’t make it monthly. The tag-athon consist of a whole day of tag and of course children aren’t interested unless prizes are involved. Of course all the prizes will be healthy and educational. I will simply keep that detail from the children.

Mission 6: Transportation

Learn:
Transportation is such a great thing. I mean especially for me Fierce Dreamer. Just because I am a super hero does not mean that I like walking everywhere. Luckily, for me I own a car so my days of walking are over. Thank goodness! Well before I owned a car or had a license; which was actually 6 months ago. I had to walk to and from high school every day. That was such a hassle. I mean I had to wake up 45 minutes earlier than I needed to. Plus I would have to leave for school 25-30 minutes before the actual first bell rang. On top of that I still managed to be late. Even having a car is a hassle. For one it always needs gas, and that requires money. Then occasionally problems can occur that requires fixing and that’s more money.
Going carless in Modesto isn’t that big of a deal. Okay maybe it is if you have to be somewhere at a certain time and don’t know the area really well. The obstacles of traveling carless would be that one would have to walk everywhere, but on the plus side they should be in nice shape and have nice legs ;-) If one travels carless outside of Modesto there is always the utilization of public transportation which could be a problem time wise and money wise. I mean you always have to have exact change and that also is a problem. Then you have to be aware of bus route numbers and transfers, and the time the buses arrive.
Act:
If it was up to me Fierce Dreamer I would give everyone wings so they could fly everywhere and get there speedy fast. Here I go dreaming again.  Here is my more realistic approach. As I previously stated there are various alternatives rather than driving a car. The common alternative would be walking if the destination point is considered to be semi close. Semi close would be if one can reach their destination anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour. Other than that is time to use items such as a bike or skateboard. I would say that those items would definitely get someone to their destination faster than it would be walking, plus it’s a great source of exercise. Or someone could use public transportation and ride the bus. The logistics that one has to take in mind when going carless would simply be time management such as what time do they need to reach their destination by and how long do they have to get there? Then one would need to know the routes that they are taking such as how long does that route usually take and is there a short cut?

Imagine:
Considering the fact that I prefer driving over walking we need to do something about the traffic on the freeways. I mean come on people the freeway was invented as a way to get somewhere faster not to take 30 minutes just to reach the next exit. Since I Fierce Dreamer originally am from Southern California I know about traffic a little too well. Just to get to and from Los Angeles is a mission. One must leave there location 1-2 hours ahead just to reach Los Angeles. That is just ridiculous! SkyWest needs to bring back flights to Los Angeles as well. With this being said I will cause everyone within California to enter a dream like trance where they will visualize less congested freeways and faster ways to reach Los Angeles all the way from San Francisco. Thus, it’s 5 years later and with my hard work and dedication the California High Speed Rail System has been completed. Allowing people to travel to any city ranging from San Francisco to San Diego. How awesome is that! I Fierce Dreamer will be able to return home to Southern California anytime I desire. As for those people who are not willing to ride the California High Speed Rail System for 6-12 hours well take a plane. SkyWest changed their mind and are continuing with flight to Los Angeles.

Mission 5: Housing Recovery

Learn:
What a sad, sad world we live in when almost every block is filled with foreclosure signs. What are people to hope for when most people’s dreams and aspirations revolve around owning/ living in a house?  I know several families that are at risk of losing their house or that have already lost their house.  The common reason being for most people losing their house is that banks simply are not willing to work with families in need. As well as making the process of trying to negotiate the mortgage payments long and tiring. Not only that but for some strange reason new housing developments are being established which is just ridiculous because people can’t even afford to live in the houses they already own. Thank goodness there are recovery act programs that are working on putting a stop to these housing problems. The two programs I found would be beneficial are Neighborhood stabilization Program (NSP) and Making Home Affordable Program (MHAP).  The NSP focuses on stabilizing communities that have suffered from foreclosures and abandonment through the purchase and redevelopment of foreclosed and abandoned homes and residential properties. MHAP Program is part of the Obama Administration's strategy to get the economy and the housing market back on track. MHAP because the costs of houses are in fact outrageous with all these lay-offs and pay-cuts families are struggling to provide the basic necessities and on top of that they have to stress about how they are going to make their mortgage payment. No wonder the world is going down the drain, because stress is attacking everyone. Enough of this learning it’s time for me Fierce Dreamer to step in and help those keep their houses.

Act:
We citizens are the heart of the community and if we all unite and join forces we could help put a stop to this tragedy of foreclosures that are causing our fellow neighbors to become homeless. One group that I Fierce Dreamer will form an alliance with is the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP). This program focuses on providing families with financial assistance to prevent them from becoming homeless and also provide them with credit counseling. The special thing about this recovery act program is that it provides assistance to potential homeless by re-housing them in a short or medium term rental housing location. One way I Fierce Dreamer and the community can help HPRP is by lending a hand. First I will cause all those that are at risk of losing their house and those that are considered to be homeless to enter a dream like trance where they see themselves one day owning a house again without the stress of worry about how they will pay their mortgage. Then I Fierce Dreamer and the follow community members will volunteer at the HPRP to help move people into their relocation housing. Also we will put up flyers to let people know where HPRP is located so they can make donations of food or clothes.
Imagine:
Oh it’s just so delightful to be able to walk down the neighborhood streets without being bombarded with all these foreclosure signs plastered everywhere. I mean I still might see a sign every now and then by its amazing how one little step could make a big difference. Five years later and foreclosure is no longer a fear or an epidemic taking over every block.  HPRP not only gave people a new place to live, but in fact it gave people the much needed assistance to get back on their feet and be home owners again.

Mission 4: Healthy Lifestyle

Learn:
*Cough, cough…sniffle sniffle… Ahh-choo* Oh no it looks like it’s that time over year again. Unfortunately, for some families a little cold here and there can add up to be pretty expensive. Especially if they do not have the greatest health care provider or if they don’t even have health care at all. One way to help prevent seeing a doctor for every flu or cold would be to live a healthier lifestyle by eating smart, exercising on a daily basis and keeping up on vaccines.
Living a healthy lifestyle might appear to be challenging, but with the help of the community it will make it a whole lot easier. Getting healthy by yourself can be considered BORING! With the involvement of the community it will help to maintain a healthy diet and exercise regularly. I say forget those expensive groups and clubs like weight watchers and that one lady named Jenny Craig. Get the neighbors and family involved and start a bicycling group. Everyone has a bike, and just 30 minutes a day is great cardio. It also wouldn’t hurt Modesto to have a weekly farmers market where all sorts of great fruit and produce are available. Yummy!
Act:
Okay so here is my grand plan to ensure that everyone only visits the doctor if it’s a life or death matter. Unfortunately, this doesn’t include free healthcare because we’re not Canada and I doubt we want to be Canada because then seeing a doctor will be nearly impossible. My plan is better and simpler to accomplish. For starters parents please instill the importance of washing hands to children it kills germs. Thus, killing whatever bacteria is being spread and causing colds and flu’s. Excitingly enough my plan is to excellent to fulfill myself so with the help of my dear friend, Super Nutricia from Southern California we will get this health crisis all figured out.
Obesity is not a pretty thing. I should know firsthand considering the fact that if it wasn’t for this super suit sucking me in I would look like an apple… Sadly, eating healthy cost a fortune no wonder so many people opt for fast food and junk food. Sure fast food and junk food are nice and tasty, but the side effects are not that great. It leads to high cholesterol and diabetes. Plus most people are not aware of how many extra calories will need to be burned just by eating that junk. Not only that but it cost 200 buck-a-roos for a dingy gym membership. Now that’s just OUTRAGEOUS!

Here is what I Fierce Dreamer I am going to do. First I will make everyone enter a trance and make them eat all sorts of junk food when suddenly they will all turn into 600 pounders requiring oxygen tanks just to walk around. When they wake up they will live in fear of every eating non nutritional food ever again. Okay.. okay so maybe that won’t really work, but with the help of Super Nutricia we will start by giving everyone seeds to plant their own produce right in their back yard making it easier to choose healthy food. In order to stay fit we will set up different exercise classes for runners, bikers, walkers. Think cardio people.

Imagine:
Wow! It’s hard to believe the plan to get healthy worked and our alliance has grown by 500 members. It’s great to see all the morning joggers up bright and early and the walkers out in mid-day. Throughout the neighborhoods gardens are beaming with fresh home grown produce. It’s crazy to think that a couple of weeks ago the community members were ticking time bombs thanks to their unhealthy lifestyles.

Mission 3: Laugh in the Face of Danger

Learn:
Crack, bust!!! *Screaming* Help, help! Someone is robbing my house. Have no fear victimized pedestrian, Fierce Dreamer to the rescue. Now I know that these types of things happen quite often, but I must say it is becoming a hassle to save these people from vicious crimes. If only there were more people to help me out with these damsels in distress causes. Unfortunately, due to this pitiful economic crisis I am forced to take on these crimes all by my lonesome. Not that I’m complaining or anything, but more police officers, and firefighters would surely be fantastic. Bring my follow rescuers back I say!
It is devastating to learn that Modesto may lose a total of 60 positions split between 35 police officers and 10 firefighters, 13 sworn officers and a dozen community service officers. That means I Fierce Dreamer will have to fill in the spots of those 60 lost positions in order to stop burglary, vandalism, and to put out the fire. These citizens are going to put in harms ways considering the fact that most neighbor hoods do not offer any sort of security or protection. I mean not even my secret dreamer cave have security around it. Although I have to say that the neighborhood I live in before I was Fierce Dreamer did have security roaming around and no one was ever robbed. However there was still an occasional house fire now and then.
Act:
Attention... Attention my fellow citizens please stop with the crime before I Fierce Dreamer take my whole super powerness to a whole another level. Just to warn you some of you might not like what I unleash. Okay… okay that’s just my wishful thinking again coming out of my little tiny ounce of irritation.  Someone please explain to me what good can come out of cutting the jobs of police officers and firefighters. Oh yeah that’s right nothing good comes from it. So as I Fierce Dreamer take control into my own hands I will set up surveillance cameras in neighborhoods. Maybe this would trigger a sense of fright in those law breakers. Along with that every neighborhood should have their own criminal watching club. I mean who else know the people that live in your neighborhood better than you do right? The club will meet each week to discuss any suspicious activity that take place. It wouldn’t be to bad of an idea if maybe families and friends attend self defense classes.  As for the fire well that’s not really that preventable, but just in case keep a fire extinguisher handy. The more prepared people are the better they are at facing danger.

Imagine:
Destruction in my neighborhood? Ha! Bring it on. My neighbors are well prepared to take on anything brought our way. If it’s a robber we could easily take them down thanks to our wonderful self defense training.  Say if there was an incident that requires me to notify my whole neighborhood that would be all done with the touch of button. What button you may ask? Well thanks to that wonderful invention of freedom alert the word gets spread ultra fast. My neighborhood and I have took the liberty to install the freedom alert system in everyone’s house so that when one of us is in danger we just hit the button and wha-lah everyone is aware.

Mission 2: Making Money Honey

Learn:
Poor… Poor…Poor city of Modesto they can never catch a break. Luckily I Fierce Dream am here to help them in their desperate time of need. As I set out on Mission: employment I came across astounding facts that the Modesto employment rate has reached 17.2 percent. That is simply despicable for an agricultural city. Commercial and agriculture greatly contributes and are vital for the growth of the city by items such as dairy products, almonds, and even wine.
Act:
Enough already! It’s time for me Fierce Dreamer to help take action among these other groups that are working towards the well being of Modesto’s economic future. First with my micro loan I would give every family in Modesto a couple thousands of dollars so they could go shopping. Yes, shopping and this will cause all the business people to realize that they are completely understaffed. Thus they will have to hire people to help maintain their company. Okay, well maybe that’s wishful thinking, but one project that I found most intriguing is the California High Speed Rail System that will help to stimulate the economy by providing jobs and long term benefits. The speed rail will range from Sacramento all the way to San Diego. Just imagine all the jobs that will be available due to this magnificent idea.  With m
Imagine:
As I have a blast to the future thanks to my ability to dream, and make them come true; I see tons of people heading off to work. Wait a minute it’s not just tons it’s practically the whole city of Modesto; well those that are eligible to work. Thanks to my gracious donations to all the Modesto families with my micro loans they all used the money to go shopping, which caused a big boom in major companies. This great plan of mine opened up hundreds of jobs, and still allows everyone that wants or that is in need of a job to successfully achieve one.

Mission 1: Save Modesto Schools

Learn:
Where are the school districts heading some may ask? Down the wrong path that’s for sure. I remember the time when school was looked at with enthusiasm and excitement. A place to make friends and participate in various clubs; if you’re a musician then one could join choir or band, if you believe you’re athletically talented join a sport. Within this recession extracurricular activities are being viewed as unimportant, and are perceived as a money waster in schools.
As I set out on my mission I came across a distressed family who is in fear of their children’s school experience. As we conversed I was in complete astonishment to discover that the AVID program has been eliminated, as well as music and sports cuts. I also was informed that there has been a rising issue of classroom sizes have being expanded. The distressed parents are in fear that without the help of AVID that their dear child will turn away from college. Huh?? What?? No college?? I’ve heard enough of this nonsense. I am the Fierce Dreamer, and since these children’s dreams are being crushed one by one, well it’s my job to intervene.
Act:
Have no fear, Fierce Dreamer is here! I have composed a bullet, fire, and water proof plan to correct the wrong doings of these dream crushers. For starters I will take over every local news source and hold a brief, yet effective lecture to strongly influence everyone to participate and volunteer in this desperate time of need. As the people of Modesto are listening to my luminous voice they will all enter a trance; where the visualize Modesto schools with no impact of the budget cuts whatsoever. In the trance the band is playing at the local football game, Art is displayed graciously within the schools, and the city. When the towns’ people snap out of the daze those that considered being wealthy will all run to the nearest bank and make immense amounts of donations to the Modesto district.
Okay so maybe that’s a tad bit unrealistic, but hey I am not called Fierce Dreamer just for fun. My super plan consists somewhat of gaining donations, but it falls mostly in the hands of us elegant dreamers. In this mission were going to use the community to our benefit Modesto isn’t called a “community” for no reason. First we will form a kinship with businesses, teachers, and other mentors to help fund raise. Just to help you fellow dreamers understand more efficiently here is an example to save the music program we put on a local save the music show. Where we gather bands, singers to play at a concert while families are able to sit and enjoy the entertainment. Or how about mini art exhibitions where individuals are able to purchase the art that they find most admirable.
Imagine:
To imagine a school without extracurriculm activities is like going to bed and not dreaming every night. Exactly it’s impossible! Societies have worked too hard to create a great school environment that has a little something for everyone. To see it slowly being taken away is devastating. With unlimited resources I would restore and improve the music, art, sports, and AVID programs. What some people fail to realize is that these activities are not just hobbies, but for most a dream career path. To have them taken away is basically saying to children that it’s just impossible for them to accomplish. Everyone deserves a haven away from home. Teachers are needed to inspire and motivate their students to reach for the stars. I would most definitely keep the AVID program because it has proven to be beneficial in helping students down the path to college.

Fierce Dreamer

My life of a super hero all began in the windy of month of November 1992. I was born a little different from most children with a mind full of ideas and endless possibilities. I tend to believe that nothing is out of reach, and that not even the sky is the limit. If something is greatly desired than I say shoot and hope for the moon. Sure my Government name might just be Lissette Montoya, but to the world I am something more than that. In fact I am spectacular beyond belief and go by the name none other than what I am, the passionate Fierce Dreamer.

What is it that I do, and what are my particular powers some may ask? To answer that might be hard, for there is a never ending list of jobs for Fierce Dreamer. If I must answer than I will graciously say that I am a dreamer that does more than just dream. I take into perspective what must be done to succeed in order to create the path for my future that matches perfectly to what I dream of. Whether it’s maintaining great grades to further my education, or scoping out sales to better my wardrobe. As for my powers, ha! People might be amazed that I hold the strongest power of all. Even though a dream might just be a wish my heart makes, it’s my fierceness and dedication that makes my dreams flow into a reality.

Time after time I might come across various arch nemeses trying to block the road to my perfect dreamland. When it’s all said and done, and the battle is over I always come out victorious. I mean not to sound all confident, but when one messes with the Fierce Dreamer expect to be shut down, and destroyed. I the Fierce Dreamer am in control of my dreams, and will exploit anything to gain what is rightfully mine.

Fierce Dreamer Unraveled

Okay… Okay so I’m not really a super hero that makes my dreams an instant reality. In order for me to get what I want it requires a little bit of work. For the most part I will say that all my dreams will not just be wishful aspirations, but future accomplishments. As for the real me… well let’s just say that I am an extremely talkative, and open minded girl, easy to get along with. My life revolves around sushi, the latest movies and shopping. I have the best family anyone could ask for; we are close and accepting of one another. As for my friends they are better than anything I could ask for.

I am incoming freshman to CSU Stanislaus. I originally planned on becoming on nurse, as of recently I realized that being a nurse just might not be right for me. I now have decided that majoring in communications is more me. For the simple fact that I consider talking and I am always up to par with the latest and greatest media news. With the degree in communications I want to concentrate on public relations. Call me a fool for dropping nursing for communications, but I have to do what I would love, rather than what would earn me more money.

Me on a regular day..
